How To Keep Your Peace Lily Happy And Healthy With Bestgreen

The Peace Lily (Spathiphyllum) is a beautiful, low-maintenance indoor plant that helps purify the air. But like any houseplant, it needs the right foundation to truly thrive. That foundation is BestGreen Potting Soil.

Why Peace Lilies need quality potting soil:

ree

Peace Lilies are used to tropical rainforests, where they grow in warm, shaded, and humid conditions. These plants thrive in the kind of soil that drains well but still holds just enough moisture to keep roots hydrated.

Most store-bought potting mixes are :

  • Too compact, which restricts root growth and airflow

  • Poor at drainage, causing the water to sit around the roots

  • Lacking organic matter, meaning less nutrition.

This is why BestGreen is best for your Peace Lilies!

- Good water-holding capacity

- Strong growth and lush flowerage

- Nutrient supply that meets the needs of plants

Care tips for your Peace Lily:

Watering:

  • Water when the top inch of soil feels dry

  • Don't let it sit in standing water

  • If the leaves are droopy, it usually means that they are thirsty

Light:

  • Bright, indirect light is ideal

  • Avoid harsh direct sun - this can scorch the leaves

  • It can tolerate low light but may bloom less frequently

Feeding:

  • Feed once a month in spring and summer with a balanced house-plant fertiliser

  • Cut back in autumn and winter

Maintenance:

  • Wipe dust from leaves monthly so it can photosynthesise properly

  • Remove any dead or yellow leaves to keep the plant looking its best

If you want to set up your Peace Lily for success from the ground up, then Best Green Potting Soil is the best option for you!
